Spectrum Health Selects Element115 and FatWire Software for Web Content Management
CHICAGO, IL, Oct. 18 -- Spectrum Health, a not-for-profit health system in West Michigan with seven hospitals and more than 140 service locations, has selected eHealth Accelerator, a Web Content Management solution built on FatWire's robust Content Server platform by Element115, an eHealth and implementation services company.
Spectrum Health concluded an extensive strategic evaluation of their Web presence with a plan to enhance the look, feel, function and interactive nature of their Web sites. The goal is to offer healthcare consumers more functionality and interactive features, while giving Spectrum Health the ability to update information quickly and easily.
"We spent significant time evaluating what various audiences need from our Web site -- considering the content and features from their points of view," said Patrick O'Hare, Chief Information Officer, Spectrum Health. "Our Marketing and IT departments collaborated to select a solution that can rapidly meet our new functionality requirements, yet is open, allowing us to build eHealth web applications and integrate hospital legacy systems."
eHealth Accelerator will greatly enhance the http://www.spectrum-health.org user experience by featuring dynamic, personalized content for each visitor, based on their individual profile. The software solution will enable Spectrum Health to successfully create and modify preferred click paths, resulting in continuous improvement of their Web sites.
"The implementation of FatWire Content Server and eHealth Accelerator started in September at Spectrum Health," according to Bob Ronchi, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Element115. "The enhanced http://www.spectrum-health.org Web site will begin launching sections of the site in late October with the entire site expected to be upgraded by December. The communities served by Spectrum Health will see timely and meaningful improvements in the content and services available on the Spectrum Health Web sites."
FatWire Software, a leader in Web Content Management and Delivery solutions, is the foundation for eHealth Accelerator, a powerful consumer relationship solution focused on attracting, converting, and retaining new consumers for healthcare providers. Built and implemented by Element115, a strategic FatWire solution partner, eHealth Accelerator Enterprise Version will be used in both the public and intranet Web sites throughout the Spectrum Health System.
"FatWire is extremely pleased to have been chosen by one of the nation's top integrated delivery systems, such as Spectrum Health, in enabling them to deploy Web sites that fully communicate their message to health care consumers, patients, physicians, partners and staff," said Ken Delaney, Vice President of Sales for the software provider.
